The Minister of Youth has called on the electorate on 15 October ...

Elections for the appointment of the first leaders of the National Council of Youth of Cameroon (CNJC) will be opened on Saturday 07 novembre 2009 by the municipalities. Two weeks later, the elections will start at the departmental level. Voting in national and regional level will be held in December, respectively 05 and 19 December. After the convening of the electorate on 15 October, candidatures are now expected in the various departments of the Ministry of Youth. To be a candidate or voter, the postulate must be mandated by a youth association. This youth association is itself included in the roster of youth organizations in the youth ministry. The registration of organizations that file was also completed last September 25.
Before the electorate was convened and the thought leaders of associations ha theve had opportunity to apply, the battle had begun between them. These rivalries will surely worsen these days. Tensions that have pushed one of the favorite candidates for the presidency of the National CNJC to give up. Marie Tamoifo spokesman for the African Youth and Diaspora, "Arrow" on the Internet since several months, told us "I will not be a candidate for anything. But I will continue to work so that the CNJC continue to defend the interests of the youths. "
